We want to share some exciting news with you as we enter the New Year and turn a new page for TRS CPA Group. TRS CPA Group celebrated its 49th year in 2023 and we have been blessed with much growth and success over the years. We have grown to a staff of 24 incredible people and have the privilege of servicing over 3,000 clients. We thank each and every one of you for giving us the opportunity to work together over the years.
We are happy to announce that effective at the end of 2023, TRS CPA Group merged into a national firm of thirty-five other CPA firms, The national firm operates as Platform Accounting Group and we will be operating under the brand name of Compass US Accountants & Advisors. Platform Accounting Group is known for partnering with local boutique accounting firms which made TRS CPA GROUP such a good fit. In an ever-evolving marketplace, with constant regulatory change and legislation, we felt it was the ideal time for TRS CPA Group to join an organization that not only extends our reach and compliments our depth but does so in a way that reinforces the values upon which we built this business.
The backing of a national network of local CPA firms will allow us to sustain our future and growth through investment in systems, talent, and client services. We are now better positioned than ever to stay at the cutting edge of technology and expertise, and to do so with a firm that is committed to maintaining and growing the culture that makes TRS CPA Group what it is today.
Platform Accounting Group is based out of Utah, and has firms strategically based across the country. We were introduced to the leaders of Platform Accounting Group early in 2023 and found shared values and goals, as well as an opportunity to join together to strengthen our resources and continue to build on our successes. All of the Platform Account Group firms have a similar history and dedication to the industry, and we are excited to be part of a group that will reinforce our values and support our efforts through a partnership of shared legacies.
